Every Really Successful Business Knows It’s Superpowers

Every really successful business has its own unique superpowers. But it has also had to tease out early on its biggest weakness, its Achilles Heel. The shadow traits that sabotage success.

We all have those vulnerabilities, and it is so important for us to look at them and address them. And so does a business.

Creative Archetype Superpowers

For example, so many creative geniuses are great at thinking outside the box, can come up with so many solutions, but if not reigned in, can spend more time in their head with ideas than actually starting or completing projects in their work or business. Creative artists can create beautiful or inspiring piece of art but can come with all sorts of shadow traits that stop them from sharing their art with the world.

Sage Archetype Superpowers

Many sages are great educators, teachers and guides; they can help their students really expand how they understand and see a subject and help them become more objective and critical thinkers. But in a business, the sage archetype can have so many choices of what to teach and what to include, they can find it difficult to scale down and focus on what is truly important to their audience and what will work for their business.

Caregiver Archetype Superpowers

Strong caregivers love to give and help others, they can help their clients and students feel comfortable, safe and protected. But they can also give too much, undercharge, feel too much, over empathise and attract those who like to push those boundaries, expect too much. So end up poor, burnt out and overwhelmed, especially with business models that are not the right fit.

Seeing The Shadows Hiding Behind Your Superpowers

That’s why it often takes someone else or a different approach for us to see what is really keeping us stuck, overwhelmed, or overstretched in our business.

When we recognise that each gift, superpower, and archetypal trait has both a gift and a shadow. We see our gifts, our purpose, and business differently. Sometimes it is just the slightest shift in perception, awareness, or in how you do business that moves a business to success from what feels like failure.

But if we can’t see the problem, it is very hard to find the solution.
